  • Brian Zimmerman
    Sales Associate

    Brian Zimmerman

Being a Libby, Montana resident almost his entire life, Brian Zimmerman's desire to remain part of this community following high school graduation led him to employment with the Stimson Lumber Company, Libby's largest employer at the time. Unfortunately, the weakening timber industry took its toll on his once stable career and Brian found himself on the wrong end of a significant layoff. Even though the closing of Stimson Lumber ended Libby's storied milling industry, Brian's employment remained strong for a number of years as he pursued a career with Noble Excavating Inc., a local construction firm. However, with the continued slowing economy and the inevitable down-sizing of the construction industry, Brian felt it was time to explore new interests and reevaluate his career aspirations.

Knowing that transitioning into a completely different vocation could introduce a number of challenges and complexities, Brian embraced his employment situation and realized that it was an ideal opportunity to make a dramatic career shift. He began to seek out occupations that would not only lead to long-term job security, but lend consistent employment across economic cycles. In no time at all, Brian clinched a rewarding job as a sales associate at Timberline Auto Center - a position he holds to this day.

Even though the auto industry has undergone a significant transformation since becoming a sales professional in 2014, Brian has become accustomed to the diverse needs and evolving expectations of today's car buyers. With a consumer-oriented approach, he is able to create a seamless purchasing process along with a personalized car-buying journey for each of his customers.

Brian's success as a sales associate is due in large part to his unique blend of integrity, professionalism, knowledge, and skills. Not only that, his genuine concern for his customers and his desire to cultivate long-lasting relationships are distinguishing traits that set Brian apart from the stereotype of a used car salesman. He understands that his job isn't just about selling cars; it's about solving problems and fulfilling customer needs. And for Brian, he has stressed that the most rewarding component of his job is being able to make a positive difference in someone's life.

  • Mason Chapel
    Sales Associate

    Mason Chapel

Being a western Montana resident his entire life, Mason Chapel was born and raised in Libby's neighboring town of Troy, Montana. Upon high school graduation in 2017, Mason pursued a higher education by enrolling in the Diesel Equipment Technology Program at Havre's Montana State University-Northern. The experience he gained from successfully completing the program gave Mason the flexibility and versatility to work in a variety of industries on many different types of equipment.

Since graduating almost five years ago, Mason has worked as a diesel mechanic in many different capacities. Immediately following college graduation, he relocated to Columbia Falls and took on the role as a heavy-equipment repair technician for a construction company. It was with this company that he gained invaluable hands-on experience that would serve him well in future employment. From there, he moved closer to home to work as a diesel mechanic for the lumber mill in Moyie Springs, Idaho.

Eventually, Mason moved back to Troy where he expanded his knowledge and skills while employed at local repair shops. Then in 2024, an opportunity presented itself for Mason to have a stable, permanent position as an automotive technician at Timberline Auto Center. Even though the future outlook for employment as a mechanic appeared promising to Mason, he made the decision to forego his experience as a mechanic and pursue a career in auto sales.

During his brief role as a mechanic for Timberline Auto Center, it was evident that his level of skills, experience, and expertise could not be easily replaced. And because Timberline Auto Center needed to expand its sales department, Mason's decision couldn't have come at a more opportune time. In the spring of 2025, Timberline Auto Center offered Mason a new role in the company as a sales associate.

With his prior experience, Mason easily transitioned into the sales side of Timberline Auto Center. His skills and knowledge that he has acquired as an automotive technician closely align with the demands of his new position. Not only does Mason possess troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and a comprehensive knowledge of vehicle operations and brand features, but it's his winning personality, his professionalism, and his positive attitude that will play a big part in making the entire car buying process an enjoyable and stress-free experience for each and every one of his customers.
